On the site of an original cottage, this 3-bedroom replacement dwelling reflects the characteristics and warmth of a traditional cottage style with contemporary elements.
The seasoned oak faceted rear aspect to the lounge, creates a light-filled room with extensive views to the garden. Galleried spaces with the addition of sections of glass floor to bring natural light down to the generous basement.
Although a traditional façade, the use of modern materials such as the Planitherm® glass throughout with solar control and an air source heating system has been incorporated. A detached garage was also erected with an oak framed section in keeping with the overall design.
